Your Favorite 80s Albums
Picture this: it’s October in the ’80s. You just got home from the Friday night football game with your friends. You break out the candy that your mom bought for the trick or treaters, take the new Def Leppard album out of the sleeve, put it on the turntable, and then sit around the stereo while you dissect who did what with who at the game!
Ah, the ’80s!
A lot of our favorite albums came out in October in the ’80s… it’s traditionally the season for new releases in time for holiday sales!
Albums like American Fool, Hysteria, Brothers in Arms, Reckless, She’s So Unusual, and Rhythm Nation!
Joe Cortese is playing them this weekend on RETRO POP REUNION!
Plus, two more tidbits:
- Huey Lewis tells us why the album Sports was a make or break it for the band
- And this week in 1995, Oasis released (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? Oasis’ return tour to North America has a challenge for all fans, hear what it is in Hour 2!
We can’t wait for this weekend’s playlist on Retro Pop Reunion!
