Here at Retro Pop Reunion, we love BOTH the ’80s and ’90s… but let’s face it, they were very different decades!
In the ’80s, we wore neon… in the ’90s, we wore flannel. In the ’80s, we listened to cassette tapes in our Walkmans… in the ’90s, we popped in a shiny new CD! In the ’80s, Michael Jackson wowed with his single glove and sequin jacket… in the ’90s, Kurt Cobain captivated with his grunge metal band Nirvana!
So, as an artist, if you had massive success in the ’80s… can you survive into the ’90s?
You bet! So many musicians reinvented themselves for the new decade: Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Janet Jackson, and U2.
