This Weekend, It’s All About 1989!

The year 1989 was a big year. The world experienced the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Tianamen Square protests, and the U.S. invasion of Panama to capture General Manuel Noriega. The Exxon Valdez oil tanker had a major spill in Alaska, the World Wide Web was invented, and the Nintendo Game Boy was released!

“The Little Mermaid” hit the big screen, “Seinfeld” hit the small screen, and a little girl named Taylor Alison Swift was born!

This weekend, as we look forward to the release of the new Taylor Swift album “Life of a Showgirl,” Retro Pop Reunion will showcase the best music from 1989!
