Summer in the ’90s Weekend!

There’s just something about those summer days you used to spend floating in the pool, playing kickball on the street with your friends, climbing trees, riding bikes, getting dirty and eating too much sugar! All of the best summer memories have the best soundtrack running through them… those summer songs that instantly take you back to the good days gone by!

This weekend on Retro Pop Reunion, Joe Cortese will play all the biggest summertime hits from the 1990’s! The decade that brought us “Pretty Woman,” told us “don’t go chasing waterfalls,” and introduced the line, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get!”

Also this weekend, we’ll explain the lyrics: “You can look at the menu, but you just can’t eat.” Here’s a hint: it happened on a walk through the business district in San Francisco!

We will also remember Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens), who passed away earlier this week at the age of 70. Did you know “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” won 15 Emmy Awards???

Join Joe Cortese for a Summer in the ’90s weekend on Retro Pop Reunion!
