This weekend on the Retro Pop Reunion, we’ll celebrate ALL THINGS GREEN with party songs and extras from U2 for St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

And while we’re at it – we can’t help but U2 is doing something NEW with some of their biggest hits.

Similar to Taylor Swift’s re-recording of previous material, Bono, The Edge and the guys have launched “Songs of Surrender,” a 40-title re-recording of previous songs.  Some will sound the same, while others take a slightly different twist with certain lyrics or songs.

Keep an eye out for it for your favorite playlist – or a great addition to your vinyl collection this St. Patrick’s Day!
