A new Superman will fly into movie theaters next year – and here’s your first look!

Director James Gunn posted the photo on Threads. He said the photo was taken on set and snapped “entirely in-camera.”
The new film is titled “Superman,” appropriately enough, and will star David Corenswet as the Man of Steel. This is his first major Hollywood role. He has previously held supporting roles in two Netflix series, “The Politician” and “Hollywood.”
The movie will also star Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
“Superman” will open July 11, 2025.
